Back home

They had a free day for their last day.

They arrived at 8:45ish tonight in Salt Lake so early AM their time so they all looked pretty sleep deprived and the leaders looked twice as tired 🤪.

C3 was telling stories on our drive home on how he became closer to the youth group students and also experienced patience being around the same people 24/7 🤣.

He said he really liked meeting interns at the refugee camp and might consider serving there in the future.

He said the country wasn’t as clean as people told him it would be in his opinion.

He said the place they stayed was nice and clean and beds were comfortable and he didn’t need the extra blanket he brought because they didn’t have air-conditioning so most nights they were pretty warm.

Lots of Bible studies and training and also going out and evangelizing.

His favorite part of the trip was playing volleyball with the people there and swimming in the lake.

Most challenging time was speaking to people who didn’t speak English.  He definitely became more confident in sharing the gospel and public speaking .

Has also realized that he does not like to be on planes where he’s supposed to sleep and can’t.

He also said that Dulles airport is the most dysfunctional airport he’s ever been to😂🤷‍♀️.

I felt like he grew another 2 inches (pic).

Thank you for all your prayers and support! ❤️

We truly feel so grateful that c3 had this opportunity and it was life changing for sure!
